From the artist:
"I haven’t released any music in almost ten years. This short album represents a six year period of time, marked with a scan showing damage on my brain, where I was given both mental and physical diagnosis.
The album art's orchid represents my fragility of self.

These songs were written, unfinished, during that time (between 2017-2019), and I wanted to be able to finish them as an ode to that version of myself and as a way to close that chapter of my life.
I wanted to be able to write and release new music knowing that I’d included this part of my story, not leaving a version of myself out because she was more vulnerable or unwell.
It was therapeutic to complete and compile these songs, and I’m excited to both thank her and move into something new."
